I'm super excited to highlight the new magazine on the block, Herewith. If you're not yet familiar, the California-based zine's first issue hit stands in July and has become the voice for those who seek that modern beach lifestyle.
The team at Herewith uncovers global trends, conducts inspiring interviews and spotlights unique shops and brands from around the world. So it's no surprise then that I was thrilled when they asked me to contribute to their inaugural issue, which includes a whole section that pays homage to Hawaii. I got to write about some of my favorite Honolulu hot spots—boutiques such as Olive & Oliver inside the Surfjack; sister stores Diamond Head Beach House and Rebecca Beach; the mecca of Kakaako cool, Paiko and Arvo; and Aloha Superette in Kailua.
Alongside these amazing shops, Oahu creatives are featured for their incredible style and individual talents. Think the North Shore's familiar faces such as Brooke Dombroski, Tara Michie (aka Ladyslider), Keke Lindgard and Amber Mozo, to name just a few.
And I'm proud to report that Aloha Apothecary even made the cut! It's an honor to support Hawaii's creative community through this online beauty boutique. I truly appreciate all the support I've gotten over the last 6 months, and look forward to working with other rad brands in the future.
Thank you, Herewith, and thank YOU, readers and customers!
